TMS provides management and control of inventory with reordering based on either max / min levels or demand coverage. The latter method uses historical demand and supplier performance history into account when determining suggested order quantities.
Each item can have multiple alternative physical items (e.g. alternative manufacturers for the same generic item) and each alternative item can have multiple alternative suppliers (each with their own price and delivery / performance histories).
Jiwa provides full eCommerce capability thereby allowing automated lodgement of orders on your suppliers with the then potential for automatic adjustment of orders (alternative items and alternative suppliers) to cover any short fall in supply should the supplier's ecommerce response to an order indicate that an item is to be placed on back-order.
Jiwa's companion Accounts Payable and General Ledger modules are automatically updated with the transactions generated in Inventory Management.
